Ingredients

  • 1 Big size aloe vera leaf
  • a knife
  • a blender or mini juicer
  • a mini bottle (to store the gel)

Instructions

  • Take a big size aloe vera leaf, cut off the ends that give out yellow liquid.
  • Remove the edges and sides of the aloe vera leaf using a knife.
  • Be careful handling the leaf as it is very slippery while peeling.
  • Make sure after peeling only the white part or gel is left out.
  • Cut the white gel into small pieces.
  • Transfer the gel chunks into a blender.
  • Do not add water and blend the pieces until a thick frothy gel is formed without chunks.
  • Transfer the gel into a small container or a bottle.
  • This gel can be stored for at least 2 weeks if stored well in refrigerator.
  • The extracted gel can be applied externally for face, skin or hair and see the results.

Notes

  • Since it is a fresh and pure gel, use it in 2 weeks and make fresh gel again which can be made in 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Use this gel for facial purposes or for moisturizing the skin or mix with oil and apply it on scalp or hair.
