5-6almonds pastealmonds blanched, peeled and made into a paste
For badam powder:
5-6almonds
4-5cashewnuts
4-5pistachios
2-3cardamoms
3-4strands of saffron/kesar
1teaspoonsugar/as per taste
Instructions
Badam Powder Procedure:
In a blender, add almonds, cashews, pistachios, cardamoms, saffron strands, sugar.
Blend this mixture into a fine powder.
Rest it aside for further use.
Badam Milk Preparation:
Firstly in a non stick pan, add milk and bring it to a boil.
Into it add the almond paste, mix and cook for 5-10 minutes on low flame and keep stirring while cooking.
Into it add the blended badam powder.
Add sugar according to your taste.
Stir and cook the mixture for another 5-10 minutes on low flame.
Chill the badam milk in the refrigerator for an hour or two.
Once it gets chilled pour the milk into the glasses.
Serve and enjoy!!!
Notes
In this recipe I have made badam powder using other dry fruits like cashews and pistachios however, they can be skipped and only almonds can be preferred....
