Instructions
Take a saucepan and add two cups of water.
Add tea leaves and bring it to a boil.
Sieve the tea drink into two cups or a glass using a filter.
Allow it to cool down.
Add one teaspoon of chia seeds in each cup or add two teaspoons of chia seeds in the entire tea.
Add lemon extract and honey to the tea according to the sweetness and sour flavor requirement.
Add chopped mint leaves to the tea as an optional ingredient.
Stir everything well.
Serve chilled or consume immediately.
Notes
Another way of making chia seed tea is to take hot water in a cup, and steep a black tea bag (remove the bag after steeping).
Add chia seeds, lemon extract, honey, and mint leaves to the tea(optional).
Let the tea sit for 10 to 15 minutes before consuming it, or chill it before drinking it.
Replacing black tea or black tea bags with green tea bags is also an ideal solution to make the tea.
