Lassi recipe is the most popular refreshing and chilled yogurt drink all across India mostly in the punjab region as well as all across North India. Lassi Recipe here is made in amritsari style which would be loved by all my blog readers.

Other dessert recipes or indian drinks to be enjoyed are nimbu pani, mango lassi, mango smoothie

Lassi uses sugar and chaas uses salt into it and there is a difference in making both the refreshing summer drinks...

It is an yogurt drink which is different from chaas recipe and this drink has wonderful flavors of kesar, dry fruits and cardamom which give us a heavenly feeling while having it in scorching heat and keeps us cool...

This summer special lassi recipe is so easy quick and can be made in a couple of minutes with few ingredients handy.

Yogurt is the best ingredient in summer to beat the heat and it can be used to make various recipes and in India there are number of recipes which take in yogurt/dahi/curd as the main ingredient.

During summers Indian streets are filled with vendors selling nimbu pani or falooda or lassi or lemon soda etc which are helpful in dealing with the high temperatures all across India.

There are many summer drinks but lassi and falooda are the common summer drinks which we make usually to tackle the heat.

There are many kinds of lassi which take in many fruit flavors like mango lassi, strawberry lassi too but this is a plain punjabi style lassi which I would love to reveal it to my readers and enjoy this summer season in a special way.

Lassi in hyderabad is made in a different way compared to punjabi lassi and I shall be sharing the hyderabadi version and the common thing in lassi of Punjab and Hyderabad is that they both are sweet in taste and yummy...

Below I would be sharing the details on actual punjabi or amritsari style lassi recipe...
