A refreshing, mineral-rich spinach juice recipe is a healthy and nutritious way to kick-start your day. Combined with cucumber, it makes a hydrating and nutritious choice for healthy beverages.
Inspired by other green juice recipes on the blog, such as the aloe vera juice recipe, which was appreciated by my blog readers, I wanted to share another interesting green juice and hope you all find it beneficial.
Ingredients
Spinach: Opting for fresh spinach leaves is a healthy option, but you can also use frozen spinach leaves to make the juice, and baby spinach leaves are also a good choice.
Cucumber: Baby cucumbers, salad cucumbers, and regularly available cucumbers are perfect choices, and they all have excellent health benefits.
Ginger and lemon: These two ingredients make the juice extra healthy, and adding them makes it a weight-loss-friendly drink.
Water: Adding water is essential to dilute the spinach and make it hydrating, and as we all know, water is vital to the human body.
Instructions
Take a blending jar and add some spinach leaves(chopped or as is), but wash them well before using.
Add sliced cucumber pieces to the juice jar.
Add ginger pieces and lemon extract to the juice-making ingredients.
Also, add water according to your requirement, and I am adding about 1.5 cups of water to serve one individual.
Blend all the ingredients well until it reaches a juice-like consistency.
Strain the juice into a bowl or a container. Pour the strained juice into a glass and serve fresh.
Substitutions
Fruits: To make it sweeter, skipping cucumber and adding pineapple or mango cubes are great additions to make it consumable.
Vegetables: Parsley or cilantro can be used instead of cucumber in the juice, which helps keep the juice green and adds a healthy touch.

Variations
Other fruits: Different fruits, such as berries, increase the sweetness of the juice, and all the berries are rich in antioxidants.
Sweeteners: Adding artificial sweeteners increases the calories of the juice, but natural sweeteners, such as zero-calorie sweeteners, are good options today.
Equipment
I am not using a juicer, as making this green drink in a blender is easy. It is just a few ingredients and can be easily made in a blender without the help of expensive juicers.
Storage
Refrigerator: The fresh juice will last 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator section. It does not lose its fresh taste, but it can get oxidized and lose its color.
If you consume the juice late, stir the glass or shake the juice container well before using it.
Stirring well helps blend the liquid and solid ingredients. The liquids and solids tend to separate if the juice is rested in one place.
Freezer: If stored in the freezer, the juice can last for a couple of months and has a longer shelf life, but its nutritional value will be reduced, and it is safer to consume fresh.
Before storing in the freezer, transfer the juice to airtight containers or freezer packs and seal them well.
When ready, take it from the freezer, thaw the juice well, and consume.
