Lemon water for weight loss is a common drink for losing weight and also shows tremendous results for those suffering from weight issues. It has a good amount of benefits and is high in Vitamin C as lemon is a citrus fruit and helpful and beneficial to consume as water or as juice or in many other ways.

Lemons always are small, round and pale yellow in colour. They smell amazing and have a sour flavour and taste good with any drink.

Lemons are often said to cleanse the body, and detox the body and are one of the best ingredients to cure many health-related issues just by following a lemon diet along with other stuff such as exercising etc...

There are many ways to use lemon drinks in our weight loss drinks and this is a simple and plain lemon water drink that works wonders for the body if taken on an empty stomach.

  • Firstly, lemon water is nothing but squeezing out fresh lemon extract into a glass of warm water. Take this drink early morning on empty stomach to reap its benefits.
  • As we all know that lemons are high in Vitamin C. This vitamin helps in keeping the skin glowing, and fresh and avoids many skin related problems.
  • The liver functions well cleanse completely with this morning drink and prevent our body from bloating.
  • It has many antibacterial properties that can cure many health issues.
  • Many recipes make use of lemons.
  • It helps in good digestion by making the bowel moments free.

  • Always drink it on an empty stomach as it shows great weight loss results and just drinking daily once early in the morning is enough.
  • Do not drink it more than once a day.
  • Always give a gap of 20 minutes after drinking this lemon drink before having breakfast.
  • Do not have breakfast immediately after consuming this drink.

Can we drink it everyday?

Drinking regularly is preferred as the lemons are sour in taste use a straw to drink if consuming regularly or use it thrice a week.
The reason for maintaining this frequency is to keep the tooth intact. A lot of lemon juice consumption may affect the tooth enamel.

Side effects of lemon water?

If suffering from severe body ailments stop using it as it may lead to adverse affects and negative reactions may occur.

Can we drink the lemon water before sleep?

No, do not drink it during bedtime as it can affect human sleep. It is a citrus fruit and it can increase energy levels and thus disturb peaceful sleep. It can be consumed but empty stomach consumption is the best time and method for best results on losing fat.

Can we drink with other disorders?

Difference between lime and lemon

This is a question that is usually asked on my youtube channel and to clarify I have put up this query in the faq section. In some countries like India, lemon and lime are treated the same way.

I am very much aware that green is lime and yellow is a lemon but any of these two can be added to make the drink. As both belong to the same family that is the citrus family, it does not make any difference to whichever fruit is added. Use lime or lemon.

The only difference in lime is it is slightly sweeter and not much and lemon is a bit sour in taste which is high in Vitamin C plus it has many other benefits which are mentioned above.

If lemon is easily available in respective countries then go ahead and follow this remedy.
