About the recipe

It is a simple, quick-to-do Maggi recipe using eggs, vegetables of our choice, and the main ingredient, eggs.

Sauteing eggs and veggies and cooking Maggi noodles with the given Maggi masala is a great idea to make Maggi differently.

Cook the Maggi with water and masala, and it is done.

There are many ways to make Maggi, such as using plain veggies, using eggs to make it healthier, or it can also use cheese, as these added ingredients make it more lovable by kids and young ones.

Check out quick egg recipes on the blog, such as maggi noodles, egg fry, omelette, egg white scramble, etc.

Ingredients

Maggi Noodles: This is a ready-made sachet available in every Indian store and also comes with the noodles in a small masala packet which is essential to give taste to the final dish.

This masala is added to the noodles and water for the required flavors.

I have used this masala and a few more additional ingredients to make it delicious.

Vegetables: Different vegetables such as chopped onions, carrots, beans, capsicum, and tomato are added by chopping them well and good if finely chopped.

Adding various veggies to the dish lifts the plain flavors of the delicacy and makes them more flavorful.

Eggs: I am using eggs to stir-fry them in oil and saute them well to taste this recipe like egg noodles.

Spices: The noodles pack already has a masala packet, but I always like adding spices to make it yummy.

The spices that go into making it are salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, ginger garlic paste, etc.

Check out the recipe steps below to make it easy to understand.

How can I make Maggi?

The simplest way is to add water to a pan, add the masala sachet ingredients to the water, add the noodles from the packet, add salt if required, or skip adding it.

Leave it to cook for 5-8 minutes on high to medium flame, and it is done. Cooking it for a longer duration makes it soggy and unflavorful.

Variations

Different ways noodles can be used, such as to make omelet and maggi omelet is becoming quite popular these days.

Also, other popular recipes using these noodles are making biryani in a simple way by making masala and cooking the noodles in it.

Also, making pakoras using maggi, manchurian is another dish that is becoming highly popular nowadays using these quick noodles at home.

What to pair Maggi with?

Pair up any side dish, and my blog lists side dishes. Also, check out a collection of indian vegetable side dishes as well as indian chicken breast recipes to serve with Maggi.

Maggi is a dish that can be eaten plain, but if you like to have a side dish, check out the recipe collections from my blog.

Is Maggi healthy?

It is not a healthy option as it is made using flour which is maida sometimes, or atta which can sometimes be hard to digest, but eating it once in a while in case of emergency is a good option.

Making it a regular habit is bad, as any noodle dish is not as healthy as other delicacies.

Can I add salt and spices to Maggi?

If making it for kids, it is better to skip adding salt and stick to the ingredients provided. If making it for teenagers and young ones, adding salt and other spices makes it tastier.

Can it be made in 2 minutes?

No, it takes more time to make Maggi. It can easily take 5 minutes at least if cooked on medium flame. If taken out in 2 minutes, the noodles remain uncooked and may cause stomach aches if eaten raw.

The above post is not a promotion of the brand and is simply a tried and tested recipe by the blog owner for the blog readers.
