Regular consumption of detox water drinks helps remove or flush out toxins from the body.
We often tend to indulge in unhealthy eating habits and include high-calorie drinks or food in our diet, which can cause trouble in our bodies with digestion.
Detox drinks help remove the toxins deposited due to unhealthy food lifestyles to a certain extent.
One cannot entirely depend on these drinks and eat whatever comes our way. These drinks are a natural way to cleanse our bodies to a certain extent.

In simple terms, detox, water, or detox drink is the drink that comes out after hours of soaking water in fruits or vegetables.

How much detox water can we drink in a day?
Try to include at least a litre of detox drinks on a daily basis as they are not harmful and plain water with fruits or veggies infused can be taken in place of normal water.
Strong drinks with apple cider can be limited to glass and fruit-flavoured detox drinks can be taken as much as preferred.

The answer is quite simple. Just infuse any fruit preferred such as lemons, cucumbers, oranges, watermelon, berries in water along with some mint or ginger for few hours and consume them any time of the day and for best results, take them on empty stomach.
Yes, there is no harm in consuming these drinks at night but to help boost up the digestion faster and proper cleansing of the body, it is better on an empty tummy. But if no time to consume in the morning, consume any time of the day and still get better results.
Yes, not only tummy fat deposits but overall weight can be controlled and reduced with regular usage.

detox water recipe for weight loss
Ingredients
- ½ lemon extract ( extract the juice)
- 1 cucumber (cut into round slices)
- ½ ginger piece (peeled)
- 4-5 mint leaves
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (acv)
- 1.5 cups water
Instructions
- Add water into a mason jar or a glass or a cup.
- Add lemon extract into it.
- Add apple cider vinegar as an optional ingredient and stir well.
- Add mint leaves to the detox water.
- Add honey and stir well.
- Add fresh cucumber slices and ginger piece to the detox.
- Allow it to sit for one or two hours or consume fresh.
- Add some ice if required.
- Enjoy the fresh detox water or store airtight and use it within a single day.
Notes
- Can drink it early in the morning or before meals.
- Use the drink regularly to detoxify the body as well as to refresh oneself.
